Terms of Service

These terms govern the CardCue Chrome extension and its supporting account, card-recognition, card-information, and subscription services, operated by Kevin Levesque. By using these services, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement.

Use an account you are authorized to access and keep its sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for your use of CardCue. Contact support@getcardcue.com if you believe your account is being misused.

CardCue helps identify cards visible in supported Whatnot live streams and displays related card information. The Chrome extension passes captured images to the separately installed CardCue Mac companion, which runs CollectorVision recognition locally after your agreement. If direct video capture is unavailable, a locally processed screenshot may include the entire visible tab, including chat and usernames. CardCue sends recognized card identifiers and scan-accounting metadata to its services, not the captured frame in this local-recognition path. See our Privacy Policy for details and controls.

Recognition, card variants, condition, grades, prices, and other information may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Verify the card and relevant details yourself before buying, selling, bidding, or making another decision. Displayed values are estimates, not guaranteed transaction prices or professional appraisals.

CardCue does not authenticate physical cards, guarantee a grade, place bids, or complete a card purchase for you. Linked marketplaces and Whatnot operate their own services and terms. CardCue is not affiliated with or endorsed by those services merely because it supports streams or links to them.

Free accounts receive 10 accepted card recognitions per UTC calendar day. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC, which may differ from midnight in your local time zone. Repeated recognition of the same card within the same tracked occurrence is deduplicated.

CardCue Pro removes the daily free-recognition cap. Service availability, supported content, and protective rate limits still apply. Pro does not promise uninterrupted service or unlimited request throughput.

Choose a billing interval at Stripe checkout. Review the price, billing interval, and any applicable charges shown there before subscribing. Your subscription automatically renews and your selected payment method is charged for each new billing period until you cancel.

Paid access depends on successful payment and confirmation of your membership. Returning from checkout alone does not establish that a payment succeeded. Keep your billing details current using CardCue’s billing management page.

You can cancel through your CardCue account’s Manage plan option, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; access continues through that period. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next renewal charge. Uninstalling the extension or signing out does not cancel a subscription.

For a billing error or refund request, email support@getcardcue.com. Refund requests are reviewed individually. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund, and nothing in these terms limits any refund or cancellation rights required by applicable law.

Use CardCue lawfully and only with content and accounts you are permitted to access. Do not use it to invade another person’s privacy, bypass access controls or scan allowances, share or misuse authentication credentials, disrupt the service, or submit malicious content.

Do not represent CardCue’s estimates or recognition results as verified authentication, grading, or a guarantee. Respect the rights and applicable terms of stream operators, card owners, and other services.

Protective controls may limit requests or access where needed to prevent misuse, investigate security issues, or comply with law. Contact support if you believe access has been restricted in error.

Features depend on a supported Mac with the CardCue companion installed, supported websites, third-party services, network connectivity for account and card information, and the quality of visible card images. Changes to a stream website or service provider may affect recognition or availability. We may maintain or update CardCue; Chrome delivers Web Store extension updates through its normal process, while the Mac companion has its own update process.

We will post revised terms here and update the effective date. Material changes will be disclosed as required before they apply. A change to these terms does not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
